History

The African Institute for Health Policy & Health Systems Studies, Ebonyi State University Abakaliki Nigeria was formally established on the 29th of April 2015 following Senate approval given during the 33rd Regula Senate Meeting of Ebonyi State University held on the 29th of April 2015. and the subsequent approval of the University Council. The official inauguration of the Institute was performed on 8th November, 2017 by Dr. Abdul Ghaffar the Executive Director of the Alliance for Health Policy & Systems Research of World Health Organization Geneva Switzerland.
